The music on this album was recorded in 1955 & 1956, but the album was not released until 1980. Half the material on it was reissued from her earliest album with Ray Bryant, half was unreleased. So how should this album be assigned chronologically? It seems reasonable to place it between Meet Betty Carter and Ray Bryant and I Can't Help It within her personal chronology as it is right now, but is it accurate to peg it generally as a "1956 album" (as it is in Categories)? Anyone who can settle this definitively, or point to the relevant rules in Wikipedia's voluminous documentation, please do. Hope my edits were useful in the meantime.
