Question: I am very interesting in the implementation of graduated interval recall and spaced repetition. I am very interested in exactly HOW Smart.fm decides when the next review date should be. The description of the technology behind is very vague; I know what it does, but no idea how. The purpose to to compare this algorithm with algorithms produced by other learning software programs (Anki, Leitner System, etc.)

I would like some information about the third party programs for smart.fm[edit]

I understand that smart fm has a public api for developers(*) which allows other people to freely develop applications for people to use. I can not easily find information about it. I have found that support will be stopped in aug 2010 (http://blog.smart.fm/en/2010/06/24/smartfm-public-api/) - they suggest that it will be back...
