Proposed merge and notability[edit]

An editor proposed at Talk:Slow Movement to merge a number of "Slow ..." articles to that main article. I began this article not as a subset of the "Slow movement" at all, but as a notable standalone topic in film. The coverage even cited so far in this admitted stub is enough to demonstrate notability, and since I wrote it there has been much more coverage including two books dedicated to the topic. The main merge discussion is on that other talk page, but I strongly oppose a merge. I intend to expand this article, but first I will list here some further sources that can be used. • Oppose merging, because the term describes a specific and established way of filmmaking. -Mardus /talk 21:46, 4 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
