Why are we discussing deleting Slammiversary when it's less than a month away but no one is discussing deleting WrestleMania XXVIII when it is over a year away, has no announced matches and only information about the bids for the venue? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.237.8.194 (talk) 16:08, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not done The article page for Slammiversary IX is currently a redirect as the result of a community discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2011 May 27. 3rd-party citations needed[edit]

From the previous deletion discussion, I learn that Slammiversary IX is likely to be an event notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. However, the event is now finished but we still don't have any 3rd-party external sources to back up the notability of the event. Therefore, I put {{refimprove}} onto the article in the hope that some active editor of this article will understand the issue and add 3rd-party citations to the article.
