Etymology

I've removed the good faith attempt at an etymology for the name, as the only sources I can find online are the one cited from Ancestry.com, which is an unreliable user-generated source by prior consensus, as noted at WP:ANCESTRY.COM, and an entry at forebears.io claiming it means "herring fisher" [1]. forebears.io also seems to be user-generated content, as discussed at WP:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 257#Forebears.io. @AllTheUsernamesAreInUse:, can you find a better source online?
