Ski Films - What qualifies as Ski Film Genre?[edit]

Someone put Town and Country plus Bridget Jones Diary 2 in this list. I removed both then someone reinstated them. I just watched Town and Country and there is ONE scene with Andie McDowell in a chairlift, but no actual skiing. This does not put it in the "Ski Film" genre. I think Bridget Jones is the same deal, and maybe others. This list needs to be more strict about what makes something a ski film. JettaMann (talk) 14:43, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article (and our Wiki coverage) is a mess. The "ski film" glamorizing the ski bum and watched (still) often in resorts (just check out the action in Vermont) is a definite genre with lots of films and even films about the genre itself. But we have this giant monster list in front of mainstream movies in the front and nothing about the ski film (which is basically like a surf film). I will split to fix.TCO (talk) 06:09, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
