Deletion of 47 year old "threat."[edit]

I deleted the following sentence taken from the National Park Service website as it was from 1962 and completely outdated.

Almost 100 buildings remain from the Gold Rush period, but they are under severe threat by continued development, demolition, and inappropriate alterations.
