Untitled[edit]

The text that was here did not have any sources. It listed him as the grandson of the 7th Bart, who was Lt Gov of St. Vincent. According to Dod's 1858 peerage and other sources, he was his son, not his grandson. I changed it to be consistent with my source. Laura1822 18:38, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

China Campaign[edit]

I do not know what the "China Campaign" in the text refers to. It is probably the Second Opium War, but since I don't have a source and know nothing about the wars of that period, I'd appreciate it if someone who knows something about it would clarify and contribute to the article.
