The term “voltage-based“[edit]

A suggestion for anyone who feels more competent here than I do to edit the article: The term "voltage based" seems misleading here, as every synthesizer, in fact, every electronic instrument functions based on voltages (what else?). What is actually meant here is "control voltage", usually abbreviated as "cv", which is indeed a concept of historical relevance in the Buchla and Moog Synthesizers of the time.
