Pronunciation[edit]

How should Bridgmanite pronounced? Is it "bridge-man-ite" or "brid-man-ite" or "brig-man-ite?"

It is named after Percy Bridgman, an american, my naive assumption was towards a hard or silent G, yet certain generic web sites claim soft G. Somehow it's not obvious... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 164.40.242.212 (talk) 09:07, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Merge Bridgmanite article here[edit]
