Pronunciation[edit]

How should Bridgmanite pronounced? Is it "bridge-man-ite" or "brid-man-ite" or "brig-man-ite?"

It is named after Percy Bridgman, an american, my naive assumption was towards a hard or silent G, yet certain generic web sites claim soft G. Somehow it's not obvious... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 164.40.242.212 (talk) 09:07, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm yet to have seen any source covering pronunciation. If you find one then you can add it, or if you lack confidence to do so, you can ask someone else.HalfHat 11:32, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Merge Bridgmanite article here[edit]

User:Plantsurfer has (sensibly in my opinion) proposed merging the Bridgmanite stub into this Silicate perovskite article. --Kevjonesin (talk) 22:45, 30 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
