Film image[edit]

Article had used film's theatrical poster (File:SHYAMCHI AAI.jpg) for infobox. This image has rendering problem for Internet Explorer. This is observed on IE6, IE7 and IE8 which are widely being used. To avoid this rendering problem, another image, DVD cover image (File:Shyamchi Aai.gif) is uploaded and tested to be working as expected on the earlier mentioned browsers. What exactly do you mean by "rendering problem"? I would like this in greater detail before the theatrical poster gets deleted. You did not mention a rendering problem on the talk page before you uploaded the DVD cover or in the edit summary when you switched out the images. In a film's infobox, a theatrical poster should be used over the DVD cover image. I am going to revert back to the theatrical poster until there is further detail to warrant its deletion. My bad that I did not explain the problem properly and reverted the edit as well as did not put anything on talk page or while switching to newer image! Here you go with what I meant by 'rendering problem'. Theatrical poster (File:SHYAMCHI AAI.jpg) is not displayed when used on Internet Explorer browser with the versions 6, 7 and 8. It just shows the empty box with image missing mark/sign on it. Even when you click on the file and check for the image, it is still not displayed individually as well. I agree that we shall use theatrical poster over DVD cover. Let me know if further explanation is required. Thanks. - Vivvt^Talk 13:02, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is this really a problem with the image, or could it problem with either Internet Explorer or your computer? Perhaps you could find a help page to get someone else's opinion on the image because I am not sure where to post for help. Aspects (talk) 22:12, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This could be a problem with either image or IE, because I tried it one several computers. You can check it here as well. I will try finding out help on this. By that time, can you help me out on (File:Shyamchi Aai.gif)? Image is getting tagged as orphaned. Unless we have a conclusion here, can we not stop the other image getting tagged?
