Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this band not a flash in the pan. Their music is currently being played on CBS Radio and their most recent album peaked in the Top Ten Reggae Charts on iTunes. The band currently features Kevin Oliver, former guitar player for George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic.

Comment I have declined the speedy deletion as there is now an assertion of notability on the page, which is enough to save it from speedy deletion. However, it still needs to show more notability (complete with references) otherwise it is unlikely to survive an WP:AFD nomination. Have a read of WP:BAND to give you an idea as to what makes a band "notable", and see if any of it applies to Shrub. If it does, then please add it!
