On border or not?[edit]

Is Shkhara exactly on the border with Russia or not? My source seems to imply that it is, but it doesn't say explicitly. Also, could it be slightly higher than Dykh-Tau, and thus #2 in the Caucasus? -- Spireguy 03:22, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is on the border. Allowing for measurement error margin, it could possibly be higher than Dykh-tau (5204m). But the evidence for 5201m is not conclusive, it may be only 5158m. Viewfinder 04:13, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

....in the nation of Georgia (???)[edit]

Alansohn, why have you reverted my edition? Who/what are you exactly, and where do you come from? Are you a speaker of English(!) English, or did you learn English as a foreign language? Georgia is a country, Georgians are the nation/nationality who inhabit the country/territory of Georgia. You cannot have a mountain in the nation of Georgia - at least, it would make life somewhat difficult! Think about it! I think you should note that I am an experienced contributor (please check!) - I don't need lessons on how to use the systemGeoff Powers (talk) 23:20, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
