You may not make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any edits related to this topic
The exceptions to the extended confirmed restriction are:
Non-extended-confirmed editors may use the "Talk:" namespace only to make edit requests related to articles within the topic area, provided they are not disruptive.
Non-extended-confirmed editors may not create new articles, but administrators may exercise discretion when deciding how to enforce this remedy on article creations. Deletion of new articles created by non-extended-confirmed editors is permitted but not required.
With respect to the WP:1RR restriction:
Clear vandalism of whatever origin may be reverted without restriction. Also, reverts made solely to enforce the extended confirmed restriction are not considered edit warring.
Editors who violate this restriction may be blocked by any uninvolved administrator, even on a first offence.
Both of the above data are entirely counter-intuitive. While, in the first case, the first R of "Rárem" is an expected Hebrew approximation of Arabic غ, the second R is apparently an error, as there is no difficulty in pronouncing ن/נ. I'll correct this now.
The second case is more problematic. Transliterating غ as J appears counter-intuitive, but an editor placed "(officially)" after it, so I'll request a cite for the moment. Thanks for any help. --gråb whåt you cån (talk) 23:37, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The name of this town is Arab al-Shibli. Google books brings back 75 hits for that name in quotes and 1 hit for Shibli Umm al-Ghanem. The page should be moved to the most commonly used name in reliable secondary scholarly sources. Any objections? Tiamuttalk 20:28, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Upon further investigation, it seems that Arab al-Shibli was merged with Umm al-Ghanem by the Israeli authorities to form a local council with this new name. Our article briefly mentions this but mistranscribes the name of ?arab al-Shibli as simply Shibli. I'll try to expand the article with more info on the history of these places. Kh. Umm el Ghanem (or Ghanam) is in the usual places like SWP. I don't see Shibli on any maps, though it is mentioned as a tribe. Zerotalk 23:06, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
