Coordinates?[edit]

According to the coordinates in the article, Sheridan was situated halfway between today's Selden and Hoxie. But according to the historical map in here it seems to have been between (Fort) Wallace and Monument - or more precisely: between today's McAllaster and Winona. And wasn't it a station/stage of the Kansas Pacific main line (while under construction)? The place is mentioned as one of the really existing locations in Karl May's novel (for young readers) Der Schatz im Silbersee ('the treasure in the silver lake').
