Another Shaolin temple movie (1976)[edit]

This was another Shaolin temple movie which didn't star Jet Li, and it came earlier. I saw this one on the television yesterday.

This is the link to the one I'm talking about http://kungfucinema.com/reviews/shaolintemple1976.htm

Maybe we should have a disambiguation page? --Bigbossman 05:07, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Shaolin Temple Theme Song[edit]

What about the theme song of this film? I've talked to many chinese from the people's republic who entirely said that this song became something like a folksong due to the popularity of this film. Anyone could sing it.

I'm talking about the song which is played at the beginning and at the end while the credits play.

Total Ticket Sales[edit]

According to many Chinese sources, total ticket sales amounted to 70 million, not 50 million. 50 million people saw the film, it's true, but many million people--mostly youths--paid to watch the movie more than once (twice, thrice or even four times). The movie was wildly popular among youths, and sparked a kung fu craze in China in the 1980s. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2406:3003:2004:2A00:A006:C052:B2BE:E7BD (talk) 14:15, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
