– Every single topic named "Shake It Off" is either a song or an album, so there should be no concerns about the comparability of long-term significance. Of these topics, only the Mariah Carey song and the Taylor Swift song have confirmed notability. Despite only being released in 2014, the Taylor Swift song has received a 8x Platinum certification from the RIAA, while the Mariah Carey song, released in 2005, has only received a Gold certification. [1] (Carey and Swift are both American singers) This shows that the Taylor Swift song has much higher significance, both short-term and long-term, than the Mariah Carey song, and is therefore the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Until there is a new song with higher long-term significance than the Taylor Swift song, the Taylor Swift song should be at the base title. Note to editors who may oppose this per WP:RECENT: the Taylor Swift has higher long-term significance despite being more recent, not because of it. The Mariah Carey song had more time to reach higher certifications, but it did not. SSTflyer 01:54, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Anarchyte (work | talk) 09:21, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - miles more notable than Mariah Carey's song or anything else. Unreal7 (talk) 10:26, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. This is the clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. It receives 88% of the page views compared to the Mariah Carey song, and none of the articles has an article or significant coverage at any other article. As the nominator notes, it also has more long-term significance compared to the Carey song, and I'll add it has more long-term significance than any other item included on the dab page. I've cleaned up the page, removing several items that are not mentioned at other articles (and fixing a number of errors), and none of them compares to the Taylor Swift song.--Cúchullain t/c 21:49, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
