just wrote another article[edit]

when i found nothing about the balls in whole WP, i first started german article this morning. Right now i did a translation to english(though main part of sources has been english). It should be noted that those who criticized said a) that the color (black) was a poor choice, as it would promote heating of the water and thus bacterial growth, and b) that the implementation of shade balls was purely political. The response (defence) was that black was a result of carbon in the production process, and "any other color would have required dyes … which could have then leached into the water while the carbon black does not." — Harry (talk) 07:31, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
