Created new article[edit]

User:Periklis ts: I have moved your content to here as it didn't fit so well with Decentralized wastewater system - as that article focuses on systems without large sewers. Please help to expand this article? EMsmile (talk) 23:10, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear EMsmile, first of all thank you for your response. I will have to disagree with you about the content of decentralised treatment units. Sewer mining is by definition a method of decentralised treatment and the fact that it pumps sewage from the central network doesn't change that fact, because keep in mind that the characterisation "decentralised" refers to the treatment and usage and not the source of sewage. Moreover, such a unit can work with local sources like houses, it's the same thing! Instead of being individually link with ten houses, it is linked with the pipeline that these 10 houses are connected. In the future I would like to start a new entry named sewer mining, but right now I am extremely busy and don't have the spare time.Periklis ts (talk) 11:15, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I see a relationship between the two concepts but they are also different. That's why it made sense, in my opinion, to create this new article on sewer mining. Have you looked at it yet? I don't understand why you said "In the future I would like to start a new entry named sewer mining" - it already exists!? EMsmile (talk) 12:57, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You are absolutely right! These are my first edits in wikipedia so as a new member I need some time to adapt to the logic. Thank you very much!Periklis ts (talk) 19:24, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You're doing well! Keep on going with this and other wastewater/sanitation articles. I can help you if you have any questions. EMsmile (talk) 22:20, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
How about a couple of photos? Do you have any available? I'll also check on Wikimedia Commons. EMsmile (talk) 22:21, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I am trying to get hold of one. I am unable to find free-licensed photos on the web. Periklis ts (talk) 10:08, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yea, the best is to use photos that you took yourself or to ask colleagues for photos. How about that group in Greece, do you have any connections to them? Schematics would be good, too. I guess the photo would just look similar to any other small wastewater treatment plant, with the only difference being that the wastewater comes from a sewer, somewhere along the sewer line and not "at the end" of the line.
