Discovery of Zealandia[edit]

Now that Zealandia is officially the eighth continent this clearly distinguishes Mt Cook as not being associated with Australia but rather Zealandia, the "sunken continent". Does this mean we need Eight Summits? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.33.246.10 (talk) 10:29, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Puncak Yaya vs Mt. Wilhelm[edit]

The section Oceania tells us about the assumption that "the western part of New Guinea changed continents in 1969". I would assume this concerns the indepence of Papua New Guinea, which happened in 1975 and had the eastern part of the island switching from Asia to Oceania. Can I fix that or am I reading this wrong? LRataplan (talk) 23:02, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
