Serna → Serna, Nepal
Serna (disambiguation) → Serna

– I don't think there's a primary topic here (and if there is, it'd be the surname). While my external search for "Serna" primarily show people, a page view analysis shows that the Nepalese municipality gets the most views, but only by a little bit (probably because it has the base title). -- Tavix ^(talk) 16:10, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. There's no article about the surname, just a list of partial title matches. Instead, delete the DAB page per WP:TWODABS and put a hatnote on the village page directing readers to the surname list. This will save readers the most clicks. — AjaxSmack 21:07, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is a discussion on what is to be done with "Serna", which would be to redirect it to La Serna. So it is on topic. If you have no objections, I'll merge them right now, but as it affects this move req, I thought a heads up is good. No, this is a move request to move Serna to Serna, Nepal and Serna (disambiguation) to Serna. La Serna has nothing to do with this. Why do you consider the merger to be "silly"? "La Serna" and "Serna" are the same except for an 'article' (like "the" in English) separating them. Similarly with "de la Serna"; so would be best if they were all one page. -- 70.51.45.100 (talk) 03:29, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Because that wouldn't be helpful for our readers. If someone is searching for "La Serna", they'd be looking for one of the entries at that dab. By merging them, it'd be mixed in with things that aren't "La Serna" and it'd be harder for someone to find what they're looking for. -- Tavix ^(talk) 03:44, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
