Longest[edit]

Not nearly true, of course. When the GB of World Records included the same composer’s briefer Opus Clav, they called it the longest non-repetitive work, nonsense for another reason, as few composers, Sorabji included, want to dispose of repetition-it’s a crucial clarifying element of form. But as a work that attains length by some other (arguably more complex) means than repeating one phrase in a vexating fashion for a half a day (... to pick an oddly specific example), yes. But the distinction between the two needs sharper-drawn words. And less POV , more Wikipedish language, arguably. ELSchissel (talk) 03:30, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please explain what you are talking about? No offense, but your comment is nearly unintelligible and all over the place. As for "POV", please clarify what parts of this article strike you as biased. Thank you. Toccata quarta (talk) 08:05, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On consideration and making some comparisons, I withdraw the objection. ELSchissel (talk) 22:58, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
