This article needs splitting into three[edit]
This article combines information about three different works by Eccles, Marais and Handel. They should be in separate articles. Many operas (oratorios etc. ) has similar titles and if we combined them all in artuicles like this we would have chaos. I sugggest that the Eccles should be in Semele (opera) (as before), the Handel should be called Semele (oratorio), and the Marais called Semele (Marais).
