Advertising[edit]

@07jen: Hello. This article has several different problems which give the impression of being a press release or advertisement, instead of a neutral encyclopedia. It has too many WP:BUZZWORDs ("solutions" is a textbook example) and minor awards presented as defining traits. What is "London's Ecobuild", and why is this 2011 event of prime significance in the lede? The article Ecobuild is underwhelming, and is mainly supported by WP:PRIMARY sources, which adds to a walled garden impression.

Phrases like "...to provide the building industry with a whole new way to design and create buildings" are so painfully non-neutral that I don't really know where to start. Do I really need to explain? The cherry-picked quote only makes it worse.

Every single award should be supported by a wikilink to the award's article if it has one, or to the article of the granting institution if it has one. It should also be supported by a reliable, independent source explaining why the award is encyclopedically significant. By independent, I mean independent of both Sefaira, and of the granting institution. A magazine is not independent for annoucning winners of its own awards. Passing mentions, press releases, etc. are not sufficient for this, either. If no such sources can be found, the award isn't assumed to be informative, and being flattering is irrelevant.

I will take a further look at the article sometime in the future, but hopefully that answers your questions. Grayfell (talk) 06:32, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
