Article name

Google Maps https://goo.gl/maps/qH6VrqX5UU12 and references to events such as here http://apia.dc.gov/event/chinatown-park-yoga-city seem to suggest this park is more consistently referred to as Chinatown Park, perhaps this article should be moved/renamed, but just throwing that out there. Also unsure if there are notability guidelines for pocket parks like these and what they would be. Phil (talk) 21:47, 1 May 2016 (UTC)

I struggled with the name a little. In some older documents I saw the name Seaton Park and more recently, Chinatown Park. I found one fairly recent DC City Government document that refers to it as Seaton Park.

With regard to notability, I'm going to give that some thought. I created it because I wanted to reference it in another article I edited. Perhaps it would be better to consolidate this article and a few others to make a single article on DC Pocket Parks. There is a larger interesting story to tell. Most of these were created by the unusual layout of streets in the District that created many small spaces, especially triangles, that can't be built on. In 1933, these properties were transferred to the National Park Service and put under their administration along with most park spaces in the District.Wwengr (talk) 14:18, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
