New article[edit]

There is a lot more to be done with this article, and there are many stubby articles with questionable notability and few citations which should probably be merged into this article over time. It's a beginning. - PKM (talk) 18:43, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Things to do[edit]

  • Top-align the table rows
  • Left-align the table columns
    • Gave up on table structure. - PKM (talk) 03:15, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Make more diagrams
  • Add more pictures
  • Add flat-felled seams
  • Add "placement" section (needs a diagram)
  • Recommend merges:

Merges[edit]

I don't believe individual seam or seam finish types meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines, or will ever have sufficient text to justify a separate article without becoming "how-to" guides. I suggest that these articles should be merged into this one.
