As a stand-alone subject, establishment of notability of the camp outside of the local area is going to be difficult or impossible to show. The article needs to be edited down and merged into the council article. --—— Gadget850 (Ed)talk - 18:31, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - it's hosted multiple jamborees, Wikipedia isn't paper - it doesn't cost a penny to have a separate page - if anything present article might be a little on the short side. There's no cost, it's established notability per any reasonable standard (has hosted events on a provincial scale which is a fairly large region) - no need to merge. -- Tawker (talk) 17:40, 10 January 2009 (UTC) Scouts from outside B.C. can go camping at Camp Byng as well. Please don't merge. Thanks.[reply]
