Unsourced BLP claims[edit]

why do mentions of redacted charges continualy get removed for wikipedia? is this a goverment censorship gone mad or what? we should learn that information for free not have to hide it from the public viewpoint or else its no different than china or iraq for god sake! we demand public information! if this happens more, perhaps I will be reporting it to national news media about the bias of wikipedia and then the whole website will lose its credibility and it wont be trusted as far as you could throw it! you have been cautioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.24.3.41 (talk) 09:35, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Obviously you're new here. The burden is on YOU to back up your assertions with reliable sources. If you are unable to do so, don't expect anyone else to stand behind your claims. If what you are saying is as true as you claim it is, you should have absolutely no trouble finding even one reliable source to back it up. Please help improve this article by expanding it.[edit]

This article is fairly short considering the profile of Scott Oake. I think we should add some more info about Scott himself. Would anybody have any objections to a short paragraph about his hairstyle? Also, does anyone else have any suggestions as to what we could add to improve this article? I'm adding a bit about him hosting Celebrity Meeter on Hockey Night in Canada. Can someone help with the referencing? I have the links but am unsure how to add them to the page... Give it up. We both know there is no such thing as "Celebrity Meeter", and we both know that you are just wasting everyone's time with this hairstyle nonsense. Whoa, just noticed these comments here... What's with the negativity? We're supposed to be working together to create the best possible Scott Oake article we can. No need to have a go. All you(pl) have added to the discussion is "you are wasting everyone's time" and "I object to absolutely everything you've ever added to Wikipedia". These are hardly constructive comments. Why don't you make an effort to contribute to this page instead? I seem to be the only person concerned with the quality of this page... Come on people, it's Scott Oake!!!! This is what I mean - I come to the talk page to discuss improving the article, but I'm met with nothing but hostility and negativity. Does DJSasso have a personal grudge against me? Why all the threats of blocking and the personal attacks? All I can do is move forward and try to contribute in a constructive manner. If you didn't want me to make any further edits, you should have banned me indefinitely. Instead, I have patiently waited out my block, and am now working to build up the project. Celebrity Meeter[edit]

I'd really like to add a section re: Celebrity Meeter. It's a segment that Oake hosts on CBC. Does anyone have any ideas about what references we should include? Despite the fact that there are clips of the segment on youtube.com, the footage isn't considered as a valid source. Any thoughts? Scott Oake does not host a segment called this. The clips you mention did not show this. Find something on the CBC website that says he hosts something called this and you can add it, otherwise if you keep up your disruptive behavior you will be blocked again. -DJSasso (talk) 11:46, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am not being disruptive. If you watch the segment featuring Vince Vaughn, Oake actually says the words "Welcome back to Celebrity Meeter on HNIC". For some reason, I can't find any reference to his show other than on youtube.com. Hence my request for help referencing...
