Discrepancies in news reports[edit]

A couple of the sources for this story seem to indicate that the subject is accused in connection with an actual murder plot, or words to that general effect. The actual indictment does not charge the subject with conspiracy to commit murder. Perhaps we can find more sourcing later to clear up this discrepancy. We want to be careful on this article about a living person. Famspear (talk) 04:51, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think that there is any problem whatsoever inasfar as "the need to find additional sources". Cox has been the subject of near-constant media attention for about the past three or four years.
What troubles me is that this article attempts to portray ties between Cox and well-known figures such as Don Young, Sarah Palin and Joe Miller, despite these connections being rooted more in speculation than fact. Michael Dukes may not be as well-known as the others, but their ties are a lot more visible. The reported targets of the 241 plot have included Ralph R. Beistline and members of the Alaska State Troopers, yet there is no mention of that, either.RadioKAOS (talk) 20:44, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

US Supreme Court 2018[edit]

The US Supreme Court declined to review Cox's conviction earlier this week. I'll update the article.AnaSoc (talk) 03:18, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
