new product 'crossroad' natural tobacco additive free RYO[edit]

Local supermarket had run out of Natural American Spirit, staff suggested this as being 'the same'. On face of it seems a reasonable alternative, and possible competitor to NAS. Perhaps taste wise they may be, i didn't actually open the packet until i had checked the company out, as a result i am likely going to return it now having done so (company not ethically well regarded, source wikipedia), so i cannot comment on the comparability in terms of actual smokability, but although i have yet to fully investigate Santa Fe Tobacco Company, it does seem they are more 'ethical' and as such i will prefer to smoke that brand aspecially as the 'energetics' of Tobbacco as a plant is considered quite potent then it seems prudent to as much as possible use that which is from a source which demonstrates a greater degree of Respect in its manufacture etc. Enquiring (talk) 21:20, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On further investigation : nOt sure how things work within individual companies owned by larger companies but appears both Crossroad Tobacco from the scandinavian Company and Natural American Spirit from Santa Fe Natuaral Tobacco Company are both owned or a large proportion shareheld (is that a propa word?) by BAT - British American Tobacco.Enquiring (talk) 21:33, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OFI: apparently SFNTC operates as an independent unit of Reynolds American Inc, and therefore are able to they say maintain much of their original ethos/visionEnquiring (talk) 21:44, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
