does anybody really call him that? i mean hes a Conservative Rabbi and Conservative Jews arent usually big on having "gdolim" they rely much more on their local rabbis. Yes, some of his students call him the Gra"sh, e.g. Professor Dov Zlotnick. And Rabbi Lieberman was not a Conservative Rabbi, but was Orthodox both in his personal observance and in his Rabbinic ordination.

You're a little confused over concepts. He was appointed to a position that referred to "Palestinian" because the geographical area at that time was called Palestine. Nothing to do with the Talmud Yerushalmi, although I'm sure a command of that Talmud would have been an important aspect of his work. --Dweller 10:42, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps not everyone will agree. But

   After completing his Masters at Hebrew University,

strikes me as very poor usage. Yes, colloquially people definitely speak like that. But formal writing requires it to be called a "Masters degree." Toddcs (talk) 12:38, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
