Untitled[edit]

i've just noticed that in this article ryanodine is described as an agonist of the ryanodine receptor, yet in the artle on the ryanodine receptor ryanodine is listed as an antagonist.

Would i be correct in thinking that this means one article suggests that ryanodine activates the ryanodine receptor (which would make sense) and that the other artcle states that ryanodine prevents the ryanodine receptor from being activated?

Ryanodine is an antagonist, i will change this

No, it isn't. The only nitrogen to be found is the non-basic N of the pyrrole carboxylate. But ryanodine is a diterpene derivative. --FK1954 (talk) 15:59, 9 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
