Why lower case c for Cajun? Why zydeco fiddler?[edit]

"American cajun music and zydeco fiddler." Why lower case c for Cajun? It's diesrespectful. It should be Cajun like French, Irish, Italian, Mexican. And why is he named a zydeco fiddler? He didn't play zydeco music at all. He played Cajun and country music. See this article distinguishing between Cajun, Creole, and zydeco music: http://web.lsue.edu/acadgate/music/history.htm . See this statement by his bandleader Jimmy C. Newman: "To Jimmy C. Newman his longtime bandleader, “he was the greatest Cajun fiddler that ever lived and one of the greatest country fiddlers.” http://www.bluesart.at/NeueSeiten/RufusThibodeaux-Remembering.html

I would like to restore an upper case c to all instances of Cajun in this article and remove the statement about him playing zydeco. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Npomea (talkcontribs) 13:42, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
