Draft to Namespace[edit]

@GSS: I saw that you moved this to draft namespace. Any specific reason? What needs to be done to move this to article namespace? Satdeep Gill (talkcontribs 09:27, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Satdeep Gill: The article was moved out of draftspace by an undisclosed paid editor in a violation of our terms of use and the creator also appears to have a close connection with the subject so, it must go through the normal AfC process to ensure the page meets our minimum standards. Also, before it is submitted for a review, all the unreliable sources and unverifiable information must be removed so it can comply with the biography of a living person and natural point of view policies. GSS💬 10:40, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Satdeep Gill: You appear to have a conflict of interest here so, can you please disclose? who asked you to upload this image? and how did you get it? GSS💬 13:23, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@GSS: I was contacted by the copyright holder of the image, who obviously has a COI here. But, I believe the person is notable enough to have this article and I am no way obliged to edit for someone else. I asked him to email the image to me and also send an email to OTRS releasing the rights. Let me know, if I need to do things any other way in future? --Satdeep Gill (talkcontribs 14:12, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
But how they know about you? there are hundereds of users on Wikipedia why they contacted you and how? Do you know them personally off-wiki? GSS💬 14:14, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Satdeep Gill: I'm waiting for a reasonable answer before I take it to COIN as I'm not convinced with the answer that you were contacted only to upload the photo after the page was draftified. GSS💬 15:44, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@GSS: They contacted the Facebook page of Punjabi Wikimedians after the page was moved to a draft to help with it. I happen to one of the admins of that page.--Satdeep Gill (talkcontribs 16:54, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion[edit]

If the draft is accepted, crop the lead image significantly. In a leadimage we want to see the persons face. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:02, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notes[edit]

Somebody has sent me a bunch of reliable sources, minutes back, to my email from an apparently anonymous account. I have added them and believe that she has acted in sufficient Punjabi films to surpass our NACTOR-barrier. Given the levels of coverage in a prominent Punjab ENglish daily (Tribune), I expect more coverage in vernacular sources which I can't access. WBGconverse 08:11, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Whilst I am half-minded to not accept in light of strange stuff happening around the domain; me deems the integrity of the project to lie ahead of all these issues. WBGconverse 08:13, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As GSS and other INB members can allude to, our typical benchmark for NACTOR passage is acting in around 4 films, each of which has secured at-least 2 reviews in mainstream media. That's satisfied, in light of new sources. WBGconverse 08:18, 4 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Changes Editing[edit]

Dear @Crystallizedcarbon:, for the same reasons of reverting the edits of User:Hullaballoo Wolfowitz on Gurbaksh Chahal's page, please revert the same edits for Rubina Bajwa as the subject matter and edits are related. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.238.106.82 (talkcontribs) 12:06, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please remember that assuming good faith is a fundamental principle of Wikipedia. Labeling edits made by other users on good faith as disruptive goes against it. Please disclose if you have any profesional or personal relationship with either one of the two subjects of the bios. --Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 09:34, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please remove the word disruptive from your comment above. Thank you. --Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 09:37, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dear @Crystallizedcarbon:, I do not have a personal or professional relationship with either subjects. I have removed the word disruptive as you requested. Please restore the contents of this page as you have with Gurbaksh Chahal.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 223.197.10.177 (talkcontribs) 09:44, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for that. Please also remember to sign your comments on talk pages. There is an open discussion on this subject with various editors involved at Chahal's talk page. My advice to you would be to be patient and wait. If a consensus is reached at that page, I will also restore the information here. --Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 10:17, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Relationship info[edit]

Are there any objections to restoring the statement about the relationship which Gurbaksh Chahal with the new reference as discussed at Talk:Gurbaksh_Chahal? The proposed new wording at the end of the Personal life section is "Since 2019, Bajwa has been in a relationship with Internet entrepreneur Gurbaksh Chahal." In case there are no counter arguments, I will make the edit in three days. --Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 08:35, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
