Road 10?[edit]

A reference was cited: " Go Visit Israel . com " This is not an official governmental website, but rather a project of two teenage brothers, Ari and Ben, living in Bet Shemesh (http://www.govisitisrael.com/tour-israel/27/). By the way, I know the family. I've worked with the parents. The kids are very nice, but they got some facts mixed up here.

The reference cited (http://www.govisitisrael.com/articlenav.php?id=272) describes the route from Bet Shemesh and Moshav Zanoah to "The Bat Cave", a nature site which is off of route 3855. Route 386 does not come near Beit Shemesh. I suppose that Ari and Ben, the authors of the website, in their directions for the mountain hike from Bet Shemesh to the cave meant to write 'route 3866' which is ALSO incorrect as the mountain hike to the Bat Cave actually begins from 'route 3855'! Furthermore, the designation 'route 10' (actually road 10) on the webpage refers to the Bet Shemesh Municipality's interal designation of route 3855.

As for 386, the portion within Jerusalem is called Herzl Blvd., also known as Tzir Herzl (The Herzl Axis). It also has a local, Jerusalem Municipality, numerical designation (just as part of Route 60 in Jerusalem is called Road 1). I do not know the 'numerical' designation. Perhaps it is coincidentally called 'Road 10', unrelated to the webpage citation of the road in Bet Shemesh??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Atefrat (talk • contribs) 05:42, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
