Fair use rationale for Image:Smashing Pumpkins Greatest Hits album cover.jpg[edit]

Image:Smashing Pumpkins Greatest Hits album cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Judas O merge[edit]

I think Judas O doesn't warrant its own article and should be merged. Lachlanusername (talk) 05:05, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Judas O was released separately and earlier, as MP3 downloads, and wasn't the official release that Rotten Apples became. It's better off as a separate entity. It's not a greatest hits, but B-sides collection. Erikacornia (talk) 03:22, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Agreed with Erikacornia - keep it separate. It wasn't available on all editions of the Greatest Hits record and I think Judas O is technically out of print at the moment. It was also said in press released and by Billy to be a "sequel" of sorts to Pisces Iscariot, which kinda validates it as its own entity. 173.49.83.201 (talk) 23:45, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Agreed with above. They were initially released separately and content doesn't really seem to pertain to one another. The material that makes up Judas O are self-standing B-sides originating during or after the Adore era, whereas the greatest hits is more representational of the bands career as a whole.
