name Rotsee[edit]

1. Why added "The" to the name? "Rotsee" is OK by itself, isn't it? 2. The German meaning is *not* Ruderwelt ("Rowing world"?). Could this be the name of a magazine ;-). Clear about the meaning in German. Should the title be changed to "Rotsee" too? (I'm not that good in wiki/subtleties). -DePiep 09:37, 28 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Rotsee is also a name for the ROTC corps, see for instance James Carroll, House of War, Houghton Mifflin, New York, 2006, p. 228. --Lionni 15:37, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
