name Rotsee[edit]

1. Why added "The" to the name? "Rotsee" is OK by itself, isn't it? 2. The German meaning is *not* Ruderwelt ("Rowing world"?). Could this be the name of a magazine ;-). The translation is "Red Lake". See also: link to de: Suggest: delete the wrong german word. -DePiep 12:45, 27 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I originally made that edit because that's what i thought it was called from information i found on the web. Feel free to move and edit the article so it has the correct names. johnSLADE (talk) 14:46, 27 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Clear about the meaning in German. Should the title be changed to "Rotsee" too? (I'm not that good in wiki/subtleties). -DePiep 09:37, 28 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

ROTC[edit]

Rotsee is also a name for the ROTC corps, see for instance James Carroll, House of War, Houghton Mifflin, New York, 2006, p. 228. --Lionni 15:37, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
