Heads up about an edit I made[edit]

I have been a connected contributor to Bob's Watches (declared on the talk page, edit summary, and my user page) and I'm adding a link to their site to this article. Pronunciation Rolex[edit]

Rolex is correctly spoken [ˈroːlɛks] I understand the long/closed O sound ([oː] in IPA) is unknown in english, due to the Great Vowel Shift, so replacement by [oʊ] could be acceptable. However the facts should be seen and stated.

Contradiction[edit]

In the side column, Rolex Watch Co. Ltd. is listed as being Rolex SA's former name from 1919 to 1919. However, in the Early History section, November 1915 is the date that is listed as the month that Wilsdorf and Davis became Rolex Watch Co. Ltd. 73.218.245.26 (talk) 14:47, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
