Germany[edit]

Rogier is used in Germany? I don't know of anyone being called that name. According to the article of the German Wikipedia it's German form is Rüdiger. --ChristianErtl (talk) 15:22, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of Roger the Cabin Boy reference[edit]

I removed a reference to Roger the Cabin Boy, an name incorrectly attributed to character Tom the Cabin Boy in the British TV cartoon series Captain Pugwash. Notability for this error that some journalists made is questionable (see WP:N). I will be adding a reference to the Captain Pugwash Page, as it is more appropriate there, if one does not already exist. Teimu.tm (talk) 21:46, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Someone wrote Roger Wilco "is both procedurally incorrect and redundant."[edit]

Given name[edit]

The article suggedts 'Rodger' is common variant as a given name. It is much less common. Rodgers is the usual surname. Stub Mandrel (talk) 11:29, 26 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
