Merge to 4-aminophenol[edit]

Rodinal is 4-Aminophenol. All of this content would move to the expanded article. --Smokefoot (talk) 22:17, 5 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I'd rather have one page than two. It might be a little weird to introduce the "fuzzier" photographic terms into a more factual chemical entry. Perhaps some of the photographic stuff (advantages in silver-based photography, first thing made by agfa) should be merged into the agfa page? Just a thought. I support the merge, regardless. I disagree. I came to this page in search of information on photography. Given the current upsurge in analogue photography, I believe the majority of people searching for Rodinal would prefer a separate entry. - 95.149.88.198 (talk) 11:29, 16 March 2016 (UTC) Ken Dixon[reply]

I disagree. Rodinal isn't 4-Aminophenol. It's developer recipe, which contains 4-Aminophenol as component. Def2010 (talk) 21:40, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
