Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on November 27, 2008.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that Jeffrey Blitz wrote Rocket Science based on his own adolescence despite claiming to be "allergic" to autobiographical films?

Goofs[edit]

Should this section be so prominent on the page? It kind of gives away part of the movie by telling you that he's disqualified from being on the debate team. NobleArc (talk) 04:13, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA nomination[edit]

I've withdrawn the GA nom for now as I plan to add a third "Design" section under Production, covering cinematography, production design, colour schemes, costume design, and any other aspects contributing to the overall "look" of the film. I did add in "Themes" while the article was in the GAN queue but it's very near to the top, and I don't want to (a) rush to get the section done before or during the GA review or (b) have the article promoted to GA without the section. —97198 (talk) 12:44, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, that explains it. Well good luck with the article. :) Corn.u.co.pia / Disc.us.sion 13:36, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nominated again. —97198 (talk) 03:50, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rating section[edit]

Hello, great article here! I was wondering, though, if the ratings box was really necessary. The paragraph about the dispute about the R rating is terrific, but when it comes to the box, the certificates are more indiscriminate. The box is usually discouraged because of this, especially because the certificates in the box can't reflect the reasons or any commentary attached to it. —Erik (talkcontrib) 17:31, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A fair point, especially considering that there are only three countries' ratings. I've gone and removed it. :) —97198 (talk) 00:44, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
