Given that it was User:Rwarhol (an account that has only edited this article) who removed the "Down" from the article text, I'm inclined to think that the name change is accurate, but I would like to see some other evidence before supporting the move. You can corroborate the change by checking the Ohio State University "Find People" function on the OSU home page. https://directory.osu.edu/findpeople.php . The change has been officially made at the University, but is not yet reflected on the English dept. webpage or the Project Narrative web site.
