Domesday Book?[edit]

"Roby is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 507, it is one of the oldest villages in the world. It is a quiet little place located on the green belt of liverpool city. Thought to be the posh area of liverpool."

The Domesday Book was written in the 11th Century. "Green belt"? Have you ever visted the place? Have you seen the large council estate straddling Western Avenue? Isn't Woolton the "posh area" of Liverpool?

Opaketree (talk) 22:15, 30 August 2020 (UTC)== Incorrect population. ==[reply]

Roby is also a Knowsley Council ward. The population shown as 7254 (2011) is for the ward ,not the whole of Roby which also includes the Swanside ward and part of the Page Moss ward. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Opaketree (talkcontribs) 22:05, 30 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
