Does Ukraine really use yellow background for these specific six warning signs, and apparently no others? - Mike Rosoft (talk) 05:12, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

- I don't know any Ukrainian; does the source say that the yellow backround has any specific meaning, or is it a part of the definition of those specific signs (for whatever reason)? (Given the machine translation of this page, the yellow backround probably indicates that the sign is temporary for the duration of road works. - The standards vary from country to country. Most European countries just use a white background, and an orange/yellow one may signify temporary or roadworks conditions. Other countries like Sweden use a yellow background for everything, some don't use a yellow background for anything at all. For Ukraine, it appears to be temporary and roadworks conditions.
