Article Needs Significant Revision and Focus[edit]

"Rishu" as introduced as the focus of the article is supposed to be a universal Daoist term. It is instead a name for a Chinese text. The first section discusses the significance of said text. The following sections that have been deleted are not related to this topic. They instead link the modern Mandarin Chinese pronunciation "rishu" to various Sino-Japanese words that are not related to the original topic and proceed to link various Buddhist groups and texts to something they are not related to. The popular culture references' section was removed with this same trend in mind. The "Contemporary World Significance" section has been left in place, because, while it needs work to better integrate its content with "Rishu", it is at least topically related to the article's main concept. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nomadsofthenorth (talkcontribs) 05:09, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
