Brexit[edit]

This article should state Mr. Corbett's position on Brexit.

I can see that, as leader of Labour MEPs, and an opponent of UKIP, he is probably a Bremainer; but this should be made clear. It is perfectly possible to be a Brexiteer, and also an MEP (Farage), and to be a Brexiteer and an opponent of UKIP (most Brexiteers). MrDemeanour (talk) 10:18, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 24 March 2018[edit]

Add to line 4, after "re-elected in 2014.", an extra sentence saying "He is a member of the Labour Praty National Executive Committe and attends Shadow Cabinet".

In the first line after the heading "Education", change "Corbett was born in Southport, Lancashire" to "Corbett was born in Southport, Merseyside (then in Lancashire)" 92.237.155.82 (talk) 18:05, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 18:21, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Addition to his political career:

On the 5th of July, Corbett went against his party and voted in favour of Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market.[1] Bradeurs (talk) 14:53, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Please can you explain why this particular vote, of all the votes Corbett has taken part in, warrants mention. It is not the only vote in which he voted in opposition to his political group (as can be seen on the reference you provided). For this particular vote to be of relevance there needs to be evidence provided that there is commentary about the particular importance of this vote, and that is not in the source provided which is just to show how he voted.
