Not in Timetable[edit]

The National Rail Timetable for winter 2008-9 shows the single train as described in the article, on page 1234 [sic] in a footnote to Table 78. It comes out as FO, Stockport dep 09:22, Reddish South 09:26, Denton 09:31, Guide Bridge arr. 09:43, Stalybridge arr. 09:49.

In the Summer 2009 timetable, the route diagram on page 1193 (preceding Table 78) shows this route, including both Reddish South and Denton. However, the abovementioned train is not shown in Table 78, nor is there any mention of either Reddish South or Denton in footnotes. Are they now officially closed?

Somewhere I've got pretty much all the timetables for about the last 20 years. I must dig them out to see when the service level dropped so drastically. I remember travelling on one of the last proper services, I think it was prior to the opening of the Windsor Link. I think that for a long time after the once-a-week service began, it was WO rather than FO. --Redrose64 (talk) 13:13, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There's still a timetable (valid to December) posted outside the station, with nothing on it to suggest the service isn't running. Mr Stephen (talk) 19:42, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
