The original Red Wedding[edit]

I think the original Red Wedding deserves a mention. If you do a search for “Baglioni wedding 1500” or read the book “Early Modern Italy - A Social History” by Christopher F. Black, you’ll see that the "Nozze Rosse" (Italian for “Red Wedding”) took place in Perugia, Italy, in 1500. One branch of the Baglioni family used the wedding of Astorre Baglioni and Lavinia Colonna to stage a brutal bloodbath. 2607:FEA8:3F00:3B:8D91:EE80:ADFE:8A1E (talk) 05:40, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
