Notability[edit]

As written, the article is still a bit short of WP:GNG, but I was able to find the Teen Vogue writeup that I think solidly establishes notability alongside the cited Deadline coverage. signed, Rosguill talk 21:58, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

James III or James VIII?[edit]

I know that this may seem a little pedantic, but I can't find any sources which specifically say that Stephen Fry will be playing a character named James III. I have, however, found a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KNkx6S-pKc) where Stephen Fry himself says that the next "James" would be James VIII. I'm fine accepting that he's the Third if a reliable source says so — my skepticism arises from thinking that, had Fry known he'd be the Third, he would probably have corrected the crew. (He may have been overridden if so, but I note this all the same.) On top of this, there is no James III in the book (since the monarch is a queen), so it's not like this is ground where we can draw precedent from the book… as far as I know.

We can also always wait for it to release, too, I suppose. Packer1028 (talk) 05:20, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In the credits of the movie, Stephen Fry is listed as "King James III" 2607:FEA8:20E0:7400:C9D6:D845:8CF6:9FA2 (talk) 19:00, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The confusion over the name, James for potential monarch is probably why it hasn't been used for several hundred years. when the crowns of England and Scotland joined in 1606, I believe James is sixth of Scotland became James, the first of Great Britain. I'm from that date forward. There has been no such thing as king of England, Queen of England or Prince of England. It is Great Britain and Northern Ireland or if you must United Kingdom 92.40.194.234 (talk) 11:28, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Did I miss something?[edit]

Under the music section it is missing the very first song of the movie which is either the original or a cover of Bad Reputation by Joan JettZachygirl (talk) 02:28, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

IMAX version?[edit]

Since this premiered at the BFI IMAX theatre, I honestly wonder if this was premiered in the IMAX format, or in the regular non-IMAX format. It would be interesting if it was, as the first Amazon Prime Video movie to have an IMAX release. Mattgelo (talk) 13:10, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I believe there's more than one cinema in the complex 92.40.194.234 (talk) 11:28, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
