==Class rank applied==

Applied Class B, but feel article should possibly be ranked higher, as "GA". However as I created the article, I can't nominate it as per the Good Article nomination process. Over to you for your consideration, fellow Wikipedians!

The article covers salient points of subject's personal details and career, and provides selected list of his published works, some of which are of high importance to Egyptologists and students. Non-Egyptological details of Faulkner's life could be treated more fully: I have some research remaining and hope to add more information soon. A photograph might be possible, but will need to write for permission. Bezapt 12:41, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

==Importance rank applied==

Applied a "Mid" importance ranking. Faulkner's publications continue to be of great significance to those studying hieroglyphs. While the bio of an Egyptologist could be considered background knowledge to the subject of Egyptology (and thus perhaps of "low" importance), a Google search suggests that this Wikipedia article could very possibly be the only easily locatable biography about him on the web at the present time (which increases its significance).
